North Dakota Opens Applications for 2025 Deer Hunting Licenses

North Dakota officials announce the availability of deer hunting license applications for the 2025 season, with a deadline set for June 4 at 11:59 PM. This year, the state has made just over 42,000 licenses available, a reduction of 7,800 compared to the previous year, reflecting changes in wildlife management and population assessments.

The deer hunting season will open on November 7 and continue through November 23, offering hunters a chance to participate in one of the state’s most popular outdoor activities. With a shorter application window and fewer licenses up for grabs, interested hunters are encouraged to apply early to secure their opportunity for the season.
