The Justice Department determines that a presidential pardon received by Army veteran Jeremy Brown for his role in the January 6 Capitol riot also applies to a separate weapons conviction. Brown, sentenced to over seven years in prison in 2023 for illegal possession of stolen grenades and classified documents, had these charges uncovered during an investigation into his Capitol involvement.
