Patriots Landing, a faith-based veterans workshop in Kentucky, announced it would hold its “A Nation Remembers” veterans weekend in Grant County, Ky., from Sept. 16-20. The special weekend event is a multi-day gathering dedicated to honoring and celebrating veterans from all conflicts.

“‘A Nation Remembers’ is a meaningful and uplifting weekend featuring ceremonies, tributes, and moments to connect, reflect, and celebrate together,” Patriots Landing Founder Joe Montgomery said. “ANR is more than a simple ‘event.’ It is a shared moment of reflection, gratitude, and connection, bringing together veterans, families, and patriots to honor service and sacrifice.”

The event opens with a special appearance by a Freedom 250 Truck from Sept. 15-17, one of six mobile museums traveling the nation throughout 2026 to bring the story of American independence to citizens across the country. The opening party begins on Sept. 16 with food and fellowship, while Dave Bray, a U.S. Navy veteran and former lead singer of Madison Rising, provides the music.

An opening ceremony will be conducted at the American Veterans Traveling Tribute Vietnam Memorial Wall, an 80-percent reproduction of the original Vietnam Veterans Memorial located in Washington, D.C., followed by a Remembrance Ceremony at The MOUNT Church in Williamstown, Ky.

Other events include a Welcome Home Veterans Parade held in downtown Williamstown, featured speakers, a Valor Luncheon and a headliner concert on Saturday night featuring The Hoppers, followed by an evening candlelight service. Throughout the weekend, special exhibits will be on display, including the American Freedom Tribute, Eyes of Freedom exhibit, the Silent Battle Statue and the Field of Honor.
