Connor J. Derrick, a 20-year-old from Archbald, Pennsylvania, is arrested for armed robbery after allegedly holding up a Sunoco Station in Wallkill. The incident, which occurred early one morning on August 14, saw Derrick threaten the clerk with a firearm and flee with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Law enforcement quickly located Derrick in a parking lot nearby, discovering not only the stolen money but also an illegally possessed assault rifle in his vehicle. Charged with multiple felonies, including first-degree robbery and criminal possession of a weapon, Derrick remains in custody with bail set at $10,000, while also facing an outstanding warrant from Pennsylvania.
