A grand jury has indicted Mohammed Saeed, a 28-year-old man from Peoria, on charges of armed robbery after he allegedly held up a Subway restaurant with a butcher knife. Despite the threatening approach, court documents indicate that the only item he obtained during the incident on January 28 was a single sandwich.

The charges brought against Saeed classify the act as a Class X felony, which carries a mandatory prison sentence ranging from six to 30 years if convicted.
