West Hartford police are actively investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the American Eagle Financial Credit Union on Wednesday morning. Officers responded to a report of the holdup shortly after 11:30 a.m., and Assistant Chief Lawrence Terra confirmed that there were no reported injuries and that the incident did not pose a public threat.
The bank, located at 1245 New Britain Ave., will remain closed for the day as investigators from the Patrol and Detective Division assess the scene. Authorities are seeking information from the public and encouraging anyone with details related to the incident to contact the West Hartford Police Department.
