December 2, 1927: The first Model A Ford sold, for $385.  That would be the equivalent of $6,984.52 in inflated 2024 U.S. Dollars.

Our Big Sale Ends at Midnight! We’ve been running a Black Friday sale at Elk Creek Company. All of our pre-1899 shotguns and all of our percussion revolvers are greatly reduced in price. Most of the shotguns have fluid steel barrels and hence are safe to shoot modern high-pressure shotshells. Today, December 2, 2024, is the last day of the sale.
