Authorities in Riverside County have arrested two relatives as part of a monthslong investigation targeting illegal firearm sales to criminal gang members. The operation, led by the Riverside County Regional Gang Task Force, culminated in a search of a residence where deputies uncovered 18 firearms, including four assault rifles and a semi-automatic pistol designed to penetrate body armor.
The arrested individuals, Vaughn Gray Jr. and Vaughn Gray III, face multiple serious charges, including possession of illegal firearms and ammunition. The authorities also seized approximately 20 high-capacity magazines and three drum magazines during the search, shedding light on the extent of the illegal gun trade in the area and its links to gang activity.
