Remington Ammunition is hosting its 4th Annual Shoot to Cure sporting clays fundraiser on September 19. The annual event draws a variety of members from the outdoor industry, as well as local Arkansas businesses and professional shooters from Team Remington.

All proceeds raised benefit the Arkansas Children’s Hospital, supporting its disease research and helping children in need. Last year’s gathering was an overwhelming success and raised more than $15,000.

“Shoot to Cure is an event that reaches shooting enthusiasts and is a great avenue for shooters to show support for Arkansas Children’s Hospital while exercising their skills and love for shooting at the same time,” said Remington’s Gun Club Director Kris Carson. “It’s truly a unique fundraiser and it’s a win-win. We hope to help more families this year. Every penny counts and every donation makes a difference and invests in our community’s future.”

The fundraiser takes place at Remington’s historic Gun Club, located just steps from Big Green’s ammunition factory. Shooters must bring their own shotgun and eye and ear protection. Ammunition for the 100-target course will be provided, as well as lunch.

There is a limited number of team slots available. Registering early by e-mailing Carson at [email protected] is encouraged.

Can’t Attend? Here’s How To Help:

The Shoot to Cure event will also showcase Remington’s Gun Club Cure line of target shotshell ammunition. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this ammunition benefits children’s hospitals and disease research that will ultimately help families nationwide. It’s available in two 12-ga. loads, including Low Recoil.

Remington Gun Club Target Loads feature a reloadable shell, Gun Club Grade Shot, Premier STS Primers and Power Piston One-Piece Wads. The shells receive the same care in loading as Remington Ammunition’s top-of-the-line Premier STS and Nitro 27 shells.
