Joseph Denoia, a 44-year-old San Antonio resident, has been arrested twice in Kyle within two months for possession of narcotics and illegal firearms, specifically “ghost guns.” His first arrest occurred on February 22 when police found him asleep in his car, resulting in the discovery of methamphetamine and components for homemade firearms, including an unserialized short-barrel rifle, which poses serious concerns for law enforcement.

Subsequent investigations led to a second arrest on April 5, where police uncovered additional unserialized firearms and prescription medications without valid prescriptions. As the investigation continues, more charges may be forthcoming, highlighting the pressing challenges law enforcement faces in addressing these issues.
