See New Guns & Gear At The NRA’s Annual Meetings In Georgia

Atlanta, Ga., has been a hub of activity since its very founding—first as the convergence point of multiple vital railroad lines in the mid-19th century and now as home to the busiest airport in the world. Well, Georgia’s capital is going to be even busier April 24-27 when freedom-lovers from all corners of the nation will fill Atlanta’s Georgia World Congress Center for the National Rifle Association’s 154th Annual Meetings & Exhibits (NRAAM). And, given how quickly Atlanta rebounded after being nearly completely razed to the ground during the Civil War, the city serves as the perfect setting for the resurgent NRA’s 2025 gathering, as we emerge from the New York lawsuit stronger than ever.

And sure, NRAAM is one of the very best opportunities to see all the new year’s firearm and gear introductions in one place, as most of the industry’s largest shooting and hunting companies will be on hand to show off their wares and answer members’ questions, but the event is so much more than just that. From boasting a lineup of political speakers including many of our nation’s most steadfast defenders of the Second Amendment to offering top-shelf entertainment and a packed slate of educational seminars and workshops, the event always offers something for every member of the family to enjoy—all while they fellowship with like-minded patriots.

Attendees will have the chance to book the hunt of a lifetime in the outfitter section, view priceless collections of firearms and purchase all manner of merchandise—including shooting accessories, hunting gear, ATVs and much more. And don’t forget about the NRA Store, where a great variety of shooting/hunting accessories, apparel, knives, wildlife art, books and more will be available for sale. As with each year’s crop of new firearms, optics, ammunition and accessories, we typically notice emerging or accelerating trends in technology aimed at enhancing their user experience. This year, those trends include: a raft of 2011-style handguns ushering the classic Browning design into the 21st century; sound suppressors suitable for rimfire and centerfire pistols and rifles; carbon-fiber-wrapped barrels and furniture; and thermal optics ranging from riflescopes to “clip-ons” to handheld units.
