For the law-enforcement agencies of Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Iceland and Finland, Speer Ammunition’s 124-grain Gold Dot 9 mm Luger load has been a go-to issue load, and the company announced this handgun ammunition contract has been renewed for another seven years.

“We have a long history with these customers, and we are extremely pleased with the renewal of this prestigious contract,” said David Leis, vice president of law enforcement, government and international sales. “This contract validates the high trust that international law-enforcement agencies have with our extremely reliable and innovative product.”

Speer’s Gold Dot projectile uses a lead core that is chemically bonded to a copper jacket to prevent separation, as well as to retain weight and promote consistent expansion and penetration through barriers. Gold Dot loads are available in 15 popular handgun chamberings, as well as three rifle chamberings. For more information, visit speer.com
