In the wake of a tragic shooting that left two dead and six injured on the Florida State University campus, Tallahassee students mobilize for a powerful protest against gun violence. Led by Florida A&M University student Brandon Smith, the rally highlights the urgent need for legislative reform and community safety, as students share their personal stories of fear and loss connected to gun violence.

The protest features students from FAMU, FSU, and various activist groups advocating for the reversal of House Bills 759 and Senate Bill 920, which seek to lower the minimum age for purchasing firearms. Rikhari Lewis, a healthcare management student at FAMU, emphasizes that educational institutions should be safe spaces free from the threat of violence. Smith insists that students will continue to fight for change until their calls for stricter gun laws are met, reflecting a shared commitment to prevent further tragedies.
