A dedicated team known as Military vs Cancer arrives in Doncaster to prepare for their ambitious field gun pull from John O’Groats to Land’s End, set to commence on September 1. This challenging journey will see over 1,300 military personnel, veterans, and supporters team up to haul a one-ton field gun across 1,000 miles, symbolizing the fight against cancer and showcasing the resilience of those affected by the disease.

The team’s visit to the historic Vulcan at Doncaster Sheffield Airport serves as both a logistical check and a reminder of the cause behind their effort. “This is our opportunity to stand together, to fight together, and to make a difference,” said a representative, emphasizing the personal connection many have to the battle against cancer. Together, they hope to inspire others while raising vital funds for research and support.
