A 16-year-old girl, Jocelyn Sedillo, is sentenced to one year in a juvenile facility after admitting her involvement in a deadly armed robbery plot in Albuquerque. The incident escalated when Sedillo and her accomplices, including a 14-year-old armed with two guns, attempted to rob a couple in their vehicle, leading to a shootout that left one teen dead and another injured.

According to the Bernalillo County District Attorney’s Office, the violent encounter began when the victims were approached by Sedillo and her group. Following the gunfire, Sedillo’s co-conspirator, 14-year-old Alonzo Sanderson, was fatally wounded, while the couple managed to escape. The case highlights the severe consequences of youth involvement in crime, with four other suspects still facing charges.
