The Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office has charged two teenagers, Arelious M. Jones, 18, and Dominic Logan, 19, with multiple felonies for their alleged involvement in a series of armed robberies targeting victims on Facebook Marketplace. Over a three-month period, the duo is accused of robbing four individuals who met them under the pretense of purchasing PlayStation 5 consoles, only to be threatened at gunpoint and left without their cash.

Details from the court documents reveal a disturbing pattern: one victim met the suspects only to discover the PlayStation box contained shoes instead, while another was threatened with a firearm and told, “I’ll shoot you on my dead brother.” Law enforcement later apprehended the suspects after obtaining a warrant that linked them to a Facebook account used in the crimes, where officers subsequently discovered firearms and stolen goods at their residence. Investigations continue as both individuals face initial court hearings later this month.
