KelTec combined elements of its legacy P3AT design with core concepts of its recent PR57 design to create an all-new concealed-carry pistol for 2026: the PR-3AT. At its heart, the KelTec PR-3AT is a compact concealed-carry pistol chambered in .380 ACP that uses the same rotary-barrel and top-loading, magazine-free design as the PR57 to create an ultra-lightweight handgun that provides plenty of capacity relative to its size.

Thanks to the top-loading design, the KelTec PR-3AT doesn’t have to accommodate a box magazine within its grip frame, which frees up additional space for cartridges and simplifies the gun’s overall construction. With this design, the pistol has an overall capacity of 13+1, and KelTec provides two seven-round stripper clips that can be used to load the gun. Ten-round capacity variants are also available for those who reside in states with magazine-capacity restrictions.

Eliminating the magazine-fed design also lightens the design, and this carry-ready .380 weighs in at only 9.66 ounces, unloaded. Equipped with a 2.85-inch barrel, the KelTec PR-3AT measures in at just 5.58 inches long, 4.38 inches high and .944 inch wide. The capacity-restricted PR-3AT 10 is even shorter, with a height of just 3.93 inches.

The minimalist approach KelTec took to its PR57 is also evident in the PR-3AT, as the gun features a double-action trigger with no manual safety, and the only additional control is a single-sided slide stop on the left side of the frame. Rounds are loaded through the ejection port at the top. A set of fixed sights completes the design. Models are available in black, green and tan, and there’s also a Defender model that includes a mounted Viridian red-dot optic, along with a belt clip, four stripper clips and a Rounded Gear IWB holster.

Suggested retail pricing for the KelTec PR-3AT is $400. Defender models retail for $590. For more information, visit KelTec’s website here.
