A 37-year-old man is shot and killed by Trenton police after allegedly injuring a security officer during a violent incident at a strip club. The altercation occurred early Wednesday morning when the man was asked to leave Bogarts Lounge in Inkster and reportedly returned to shoot the officer before fleeing the scene.
After the Inkster police issued a “Be On the Lookout” alert for the suspect’s vehicle, Trenton officers quickly locate the car. During their engagement with the suspect, he allegedly brandishes a firearm, prompting officers to respond with lethal force, resulting in his death. The critically injured security officer remains hospitalized as the investigation unfolds.
