Wow! What a difference! This upgrade kit is designed for factory GLOCK Gen 1-5 standard frames. Clones may or may not fit without tweaking. My clone had a lousy trigger, so I figured I’d try. Success! This system went in perfectly and changed my gritty, long takeup, 6-lb. stinky trigger to a 1911-like performance trigger initially clocking in at 2 lb., 10 oz. on the dime, every time. You can adjust the pull weight from 2.5 to 6 lbs. using a provided Allen key.
With the combination of hex screw adjustable pull weight, alternate heavy and light takeup and plunger safety springs, and three different trigger faces from which to choose (Pro Curve version shown here), you can design your own takeup, pull weight and reset characteristics to preference.
Holy moly, the takeup shrank by, well, a lot, and the break is literally perfect. I’ll add some pounds now it’s installed, but that won’t change the feel. This trigger is quite literally redesigned from scratch, and it shows. MSRP $274.99. TriggerTech.com
