Two Arrested in Armed Robbery at M&T Bank

Monroe County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested two individuals after responding to an armed robbery at the M&T Bank on Fourth Section Road in Sweden. The incident occurred around 4:09 p.m., prompting a rapid response from law enforcement, including the Brockport Police and MCSO, who secured the scene and apprehended the suspects shortly thereafter.

Fortunately, no injuries have been reported in connection with the robbery. The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit is currently leading the investigation and processing evidence at the scene, but additional details remain forthcoming as the situation develops.
