The victim, having been followed from work, was confronted at his driveway by a man wielding a handgun who demanded his wallet, leading to a quick investigation by the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office.
Identified as 23-year-old Josiah Branner and his girlfriend, 21-year-old Sabrina Jones, authorities issued arrest warrants after the victim’s credit cards were used fraudulently shortly after the incident. Branner is currently held on $100,000 bail, awaiting a court appearance, while Jones has been released on $50,000 bail with her court date set for April 4.
