In a significant development, two men have been charged in connection with an attempted robbery that resulted in a man being shot four times in Montclair Village, Oakland, on April 2. The suspects, Kelvin Davis and Keyjuanne McGhee, were arrested on April 9, with Davis believed to be the shooter, facing serious charges that could lead to a prison sentence of up to 40 years if convicted.

The incident occurred in broad daylight when the victim was approached and demanded to surrender his belongings. Disturbingly, police found links between one of the suspects and a recent homicide, highlighting ongoing safety concerns in the community. Authorities urge anyone with more information about the case to come forward, as the shooting victim is still recovering in the hospital.
