The Vermilion Police Department has recovered two guns believed to be involved in four separate shootings that occurred on July 23. The police conducted a raid on two homes linked to suspects aged 16 and 18, uncovering a 20 gauge shotgun and a 5.56 mm rifle at one property in Sheffield Lake.
According to authorities, no injuries were reported during the incidents, which involved shots fired at an occupied residence. Police are currently sending the firearms for ballistic testing to confirm their involvement in the shootings, and if verified, the suspects will be charged, with their identities to be released following the investigation.
