Two Natchez residents, LaJessica Washington, 22, and Archie Pinder Jr., 18, are arrested after allegedly beating and robbing victims while reportedly displaying an AR-15-style pistol. Charged with two counts of armed robbery and one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, both suspects have their bonds set at $495,000. Police are also pursuing a third suspect connected to the incident.
The robbery in Vidalia took place on March 10, with victims being attacked and forced to reveal additional targets. Police Chief Joey Merrill emphasized the commitment to community safety and thanked local law enforcement for their collaboration in the arrests. An investigation is ongoing as authorities continue to seek the third suspect involved in this disturbing crime.
