Zach Porter, a 30-year-old man from Devonshire Road in Atherton, is sentenced to 15 years and three months in prison for a series of armed robberies in Wigan borough. Convicted at Bolton Crown Court of charges including robbery and possession of a weapon, Porter wielded a screwdriver while threatening shop staff and stealing cigarettes and cash from local businesses.
