Young Man Identified in Police Shooting near Golf Course

Jayden Stephenson, a 21-year-old man, has been identified as the individual killed in a police-involved shooting in Miami Township on Wednesday. Police arrived at the incident following a 911 call where a woman reported that her son was threatening family members with a knife. Despite efforts from six officers to de-escalate the situation over a span of seven minutes, Stephenson allegedly refused to comply with demands to drop the weapon.
