A convicted felon, Cesar Lopez Baltazar, is arrested in Kings County after being found with a ghost gun and a stolen vehicle during a routine traffic stop. The Kings County Sheriff’s Office reports that a deputy noticed Baltazar driving a Ford Focus with expired registration late Tuesday night. Upon further investigation, the deputy discovered a 9mm handgun, identified as a ghost gun, containing 12 live rounds in the vehicle.

Authorities later confirmed that Baltazar not only had an invalid driver’s license but also had a no-bail warrant for domestic violence in San Mateo County. In addition to charges for possessing a firearm and ammunition as a felon, Baltazar faces charges related to the stolen vehicle, which was reported to the California Highway Patrol for further action. His passenger was released at the scene, while Baltazar is now booked into Kings County Jail.
