Alisha Giles advocates for gun violence awareness and financial assistance following the tragic shooting of her husband, Aaron, a 46-year-old delivery driver, in what authorities describe as a possible case of mistaken identity. Aaron was shot multiple times while making a late-night delivery in Tallahassee, leaving behind his wife and nine children, with an ongoing investigation revealing no arrests have been made thus far.

In the wake of this senseless act, Alisha has launched a GoFundMe campaign to cover funeral expenses and travel costs, aiming to raise $8,000. As of Friday, nearly $1,000 has been raised, highlighting the urgent need to address gun violence within the community, as Aaron’s death marks the fifth deadly shooting in Leon County this year alone. “This horrible tragedy … became another example of the dangers of gun violence,” Alisha states in her campaign, urging others to reflect on the issue and work toward reforming gun regulations.
