Ghost guns, untraceable firearms created from kits ordered online, have surged in America, with reports indicating a staggering 1,083% increase in their presence at crime scenes over recent years. These firearms evade background checks and lack serial numbers, making them difficult for law enforcement to track. The United States Supreme Court is currently deliberating whether to uphold a 2022 ban on ghost guns, while numerous states are enacting their own regulations to combat this growing threat.
