Authorities arrest two Norteño gang members in Marysville following a probation compliance operation that led to the discovery of an assault rifle and a ghost gun. The suspects, 18-year-old Raymond Hernandez Jr. and a juvenile, were apprehended on the 5900 block of Park Avenue, highlighting ongoing efforts by local law enforcement to tackle gang-related crime and illegal firearms in the area.

Both individuals face multiple firearms-related charges, which include gang enhancement allegations, according to the Yuba County Sheriff’s Office. The operation, a collaborative effort between the Yuba County Probation Department and the Sheriff’s Office Problem Oriented Policing Team, underscores the community’s commitment to combatting gang activity and ensuring public safety.
