The investigation, which began in early April, led to Alexander’s identification through witness statements, video surveillance, and cell phone data, culminating in his arrest on May 2.
Authorities are now exploring the possibility that Alexander may be connected to additional robberies and burglaries in the area. He faces multiple charges, including armed robbery and illegal use of a weapon, and has been booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison as the investigation continues.
