Three individuals, including an 18-year-old and two minors, face multiple charges after Erie County deputies uncover two illegal firearms in Grand Island. The incident began with a late-night call reporting suspicious activity in a garage, where the suspects were allegedly trying to sand off the serial numbers from the weapons.

Upon arrival, deputies detained the suspects and discovered additional offenses, including drug possession. One of the minors was found with suspected cocaine in his bedroom, while the other had prescription pills in his possession. This operation highlights the swift response of law enforcement, which Sheriff John Garcia commends as pivotal in removing illegal weapons from the streets.
