A federal judge has ruled that a lawsuit filed by Mariya Gomelskaya against gun manufacturer Sig Sauer will proceed in state court. This decision stems from the tragic death of her husband, Roman Neshin, who died from a gunshot wound when his Sig Sauer P320 allegedly discharged unintendedly while holstered.

The widow claims that the firearm’s design is defective and lacks necessary safety features, arguing it is part of a broader issue as her attorneys represent over 100 victims of similar unintended discharges involving the P320 model. As the case returns to its original jurisdiction in Philadelphia, it raises critical questions about firearm safety standards and the accountability of gun manufacturers.
