A New Jersey police sergeant is charged with misconduct for allegedly neglecting his duties during a critical incident that resulted in a double homicide. Franklin Township Police Sergeant Kevin Bollaro reportedly ignored urgent 911 calls regarding gunshots and screams in Pittstown, choosing instead to stop at an ATM and a local pizzeria.
Prosecutors reveal that Bollaro failed to activate his emergency lights while driving away from the shooting scene, ultimately spending nearly two hours at two different restaurants. The next day, authorities discovered the bodies of Lauren Semanchik, 33, and Tyler Webb, 29, just a short distance from where the first shots were reported. Bollaro is scheduled to appear in court on November 5, as allegations of falsifying his investigation records add further scrutiny to his actions during a tragic event.
