The Strike Eagle has been a cornerstone of Vortex’s affordable line of low-power variable optics (LPVO) for modern sporting rifles. Previously offered in 1-6X and 1-8X variants, new for 2026, Vortex is introducing the Strike Eagle 1-10X 24 mm FFP riflescope.
LPVO scopes give the user the ability to quickly switch from close to long-range targets. The Strike Eagle goes from a 1X magnification, for use like a red dot, to 10X and has a removable throw lever for quick changes and fast-focus eyepiece. It uses a 30 mm main tube with a 24 mm objective lens diameter that is one piece, made of aircraft-grade aluminum and given a matte black anodized finish.
Compact in size, the scope has an overall length of 10 inches and weighs 21.6 ounces. Standard features include Vortex’s XD Optical System, Armortek and anti-reflexive lens coatings, and is nitrogen gas purged so that it is waterproof and fogproof.
The Strike Eagle 1-10X is available with either an EBR-8 BDC MOA or EBR-8 BDC MRAD reticle with bullet drop compensator and wind holds. It uses a first focal plane (FFP) reticle, which means the scale of the reticle’s subtensions remain accurate, no matter the scope’s magnification. Both reticles are illuminated with 11 levels of brightness and are motion activated with a 10-minute auto shutoff. It is powered by a CR2032 battery. Adjustment turrets are capped.
Each Strike Eagle 1-10X comes with a 2-inch sunshade, throw lever, flip caps, turret tool, lens cloth and battery. The scope has an MSRP of $1,000.
