KJI (formerly Kopfjäger), known for its precision shooting rests and tripod systems, has announced the release of two new items designed for the long-range shooting enthusiast: the KJI K950 Tripod and the Titan Inverted Ball Head
KJI K950 Tripod
The KJI K950 Tripod is a heavy-duty, carbon-fiber platform built for precision shooters running heavy rifles and large optics. Weighing 6 pounds, 3 ounces and rated for a significant 170 pounds total, the K950 should easily provide the stability required for long-range precision work or field shooting without the bulk of traditional steel tripods. The twist-lock mechanism is CNC-machined from aluminum and is covered with a hard-anodized finish to ensure durability under heavy use.
With three leg angle positions (23, 55 and 83 degrees) and a height range from 5.3 to 71.5 inches, the K950 is designed to ease transitions between standing, seated and prone setups. Four-section legs collapse to 25.6 inches for transport, while rubber-and-spike feet maintain traction on varied terrain. The K950 is compatible with KJI Reaper systems and ball heads to delivers a steady shooting platform for many applications.
The K950 is built for shooters whose gear leans to the upper end of rifle/optic weight and recoil management, such as long-range precision shooters running magnum-caliber bolt guns, hunters using thermal or night vision optics (or standard magnified optics with clip-ons) and professional users. Any shooter who needs a stable support platform for sustained observation or engagement will benefit from the K950 tripod.

Titan Inverted Ball Head
Built for hunters, long-range shooters and even photographers who don’t want to get bogged down with multiple knobs and switches, the Titan keeps things simple: it has only one oversize tension knob and one ARCA clamp. There are no separate pan locks or secondary tension dials, just a single, always-accessible control that adjusts with the ball through all angles.
While it may sound bare-bones, the Titan is built for heavy duty use. A large 60mm ball and split-body CNC-machined, aluminum housing allow it to have a serious, 60-pound load rating, more than sufficient to lock down weighty rifles, long-range optics or oversize spotting setups without drift or sag. With 360-degree panning, 90-degree tilt, etched hash marks to help mark needed positions and a top-mounted bubble level for critical leveling, the Titan allows shooters to get their gear squared away quickly and efficiently.
The Titan’s ARCA-Swiss compatible clamp features a large, quarter-turn locking lever for rapid mounting, while its hard-anodized black finish ensures it survives years of hard use in the field. Each Titan comes with a padded storage bag for transport.
