Allegheny County Police have arrested 18-year-old Richard Hill in connection with a brutal armed robbery that took place inside a Duquesne home last week. The victim reported that two assailants forced entry into his apartment, beat him, and threatened him with a firearm while demanding cash. During the ordeal, he escaped and reported hearing gunshots as he fled the scene.

Authorities pieced together evidence from witness statements and identified Hill as a primary suspect, leading to his apprehension shortly after the incident. He now faces serious charges, including attempted homicide and robbery, and remains in custody at the Allegheny County Jail. A second suspect, identified as a juvenile, was also involved but has since been released after consultation with the district attorney’s office.
