Darlington County deputies are actively seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two men involved in an armed robbery at a Dollar General store on Saturday. The robbery took place on Marquis Highway, where the suspects ambushed employees taking out the trash, forcing them back into the store and demanding access to the safe.
The suspects, described as two armed Black men, were unable to open the safe but made off with several cash trays from the register before fleeing the scene. Authorities urge anyone with information to call (843) 398-4501 or submit an anonymous tip online, emphasizing the importance of community involvement in ensuring safety in the area.
