Fayette Mayor Londell Eanochs has announced the indefinite postponement of the town’s July 4 fireworks show following a series of violent incidents, including a recent mass shooting that resulted in one death. The mayor reassured residents that efforts are underway to address the violence and restore peace, stating, “This is not the end of our celebrations, only a pause until we can come together safely.”
