Las Vegas Man Sentenced for Ghost Guns and Cocaine Sales

A Las Vegas man, Richard Edwin Sanchez, is sentenced to three years in prison after admitting to selling ghost guns and cocaine. He pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including distributing cocaine and dealing firearms without a license, emphasizing the seriousness of unregulated firearm sales in the region.

Between April 2023 and August 2024, Sanchez sold 17 firearms, including several Glock semi-automatic pistols that could be converted to fully automatic weapons, along with 21 machine gun conversion devices. Notably, some of these firearms were linked to at least five shootings in Las Vegas, highlighting the potential dangers posed by illegal gun sales.
