In the world of precision rifle shooting and long-range hunting, Finnish-manufacturer Tikka has made quite the splash over the past decade with its T3x line of bolt-action rifles. Last year, the company released the T3x Ace, a chassis rifle set up in “Game” (hunting) and “Target” (PRS) versions, the Target version of which was American Rifleman’s 2026 Golden Bullseye winner for Rifle of the Year. Lefties of the world unite and rejoice, as the company has announced left-hand versions of its award-winning models.

The left-handed Ace models follow the righty versions. At their core is the T3x action, an update of the design originally introduced in 2003 and updated in 2016. It has a spiral-fluted bolt, threaded bolt handle, user adjustable, two-stage trigger, feeds from a 10-round metal proprietary detachable box magazine and comes with a 20 MOA Picatinny optics rail installed.

Features of the Ace modular aluminum chassis include a buttstock that has fully adjustable length-of-pull and comb height for a custom fit, a thumbrest, an AR-compatible pistol grip, integrated bag rider and bag stop, M-Lok accessory mounts and an ARCA rail, and has an interchangeable magazine well that allows for the use of non-Tikka magazines.

The Game and Target versions of the T3x Ace differ in the profiles and lengths of their free-floating, cold hammer-forged barrels, the resulting overall weight, and their trigger configuration. The competition-focused Target uses a two-stage trigger and a heavy profile barrel that is 23.6 inches (.223 Rem. and .308 Win.) or 26 inches (6.5 Creedmoor) with its muzzle threaded 5/8×24 TPI . It weighs in at 10.4 pounds and has an MSRP of $2,059.

The hunting-focused Game uses a single-stage trigger and has a medium barrel profile that is fluted in either 20-inch (.223 Rem. and .308 Win.) or 24.4-inch (6.5 Creedmoor, 7 mm PRC, and .300 Win. Mag.) lengths, with its muzzle threaded 5/8×24 TPI. It weighs 8.6 pounds and has an MSRP of $1,799.
