Savage kicked off 2026 by announcing the next generation of its classic Model 110 line of bolt-action rifles. This included the Pro series, Core series, rimfire versions and new chamberings. The company has also introduced its updated Ultralite series, which combines the 110 action with a carbon-fiber-wrapped barrel.
“Next Gen” Model 110 features introduced this year include improved manufacturing processes used for the receiver, resulting in smoother and more precise bolt travel, an improved extractor claw with a dual ejector system and a second generation AccuTrigger. Certain models also come equipped with the AccuFit V2 stock, which uses the Quick Set Dial (QSD) system to adjust length-of-pull and comb height. All Ultralite models use a Proof Research carbon-fiber-wrapped, stainless-steel barrel with threaded muzzle and AICS-pattern magazines.
The Ultralite Predator is based on the Core Predator, but uses the carbon-fiber barrel, a skeletonized receiver and a Black Ink Cerakote finish. Its stock is a synthetic Hunter Green AccuFit V2 with interchangeable grip modules, beavertail fore-end, M-Lok attachment points, an integral ARCA rail and LimbSaver recoil pad. Nine available chamberings are tailored to predator hunting and range from 5.56 NATO to .338 ARC. Barrel lengths are 16.5, 18 or 22 inches, based on chambering, and weight starts at 7.1 pounds. Available in right or left-handed versions, the Ultralite Predator has an MSRP of $1,899.
The Ultralite Pro is based upon the Core Hunter Pro. Key differences include its carbon-fiber barrel with an Omniport muzzlebrake, skeletonized receiver and a diamond-fluted bolt. It is housed on an AccuFit V2 stock with either Savage’s Woodland or Western camouflage. Available in 11 chamberings, from 22 Creedmoor to 300 PRC, with barrel lengths from 18 to 24 inches, its weight starts at 6.8 pounds. The Ultralite Pro is available in either right or left-handed versions and has an MSRP that ranges from $1,949 to $1,989, depending on chambering.
The Ultralite Elite V2 is Savage’s premier backcountry hunting rifle. The carbon-fiber-wrapped barreled action is placed in an MDT HNT26 chassis system, which has a carbon fiber fore-end, pistol grip and buttstock (with adjustable length-of-pull and comb height), with a magnesium main section that has a Gun Metal Grey Cerakote finish. Nine available chamberings range from 6.5 Creedmoor to 300 PRC. Barrel lengths are 18 to 22 inches, based on chambering, and weight starts at 5.8 pounds. Available in a right-hand version only, the Ultralite Elite V2 has an MSRP of $3,599 to $3,639.
The ultra lite treatment has also been given to Savage’s Impulse straight-pull bolt action. The Impulse Utralite Pro uses a carbon-fiber-wrapped barrel with Omniport brake, DLC-coated bolt with a threaded handle, and a Blackout Cerakote finish on the action. It is housed on an AccuFit V2 stock with either Savage’s Woodland or Western camouflage. Nine available chamberings range from 22 Creedmoor to 300 PRC. Barrel lengths are 18 to 24 inches, based on chambering, and weight starts at 7.7 pounds. The Impulse Ultralite Pro has an MSRP of $2,299 to $2,349.
