A Lynn man has been ordered held without bail after an extensive police raid revealed a stash of illegal firearms and drugs at his residence. Roshaun Bennefield, 39, faces 14 charges, including seven counts of possessing untraceable ‘ghost guns’ and possession of a firearm without a license, following the search executed by the Lynn Police Department and the ATF on March 13.

During the raid, authorities recovered a short-barrel AR-15-style rifle, a .40-caliber handgun, a firearm suppressor, and ammunition, alongside drugs such as Suboxone. Investigators found unfinished firearm parts and tools indicating Bennefield possessed means to assemble functional firearms, raising concerns about public safety. The investigation is ongoing, with the potential for additional charges as authorities continue to uncover details.
