A man was found shot to death in west Oak Cliff early Friday morning, identified by Dallas police as 51-year-old Jimmie Walker. Officers responded to the scene around 6:30 a.m. on North Cockrell Hill Road, where Dallas Fire-Rescue pronounced Walker dead. The police have not disclosed any information about a possible suspect in the case, prompting authorities to seek public assistance in their investigation.

Investigation details are still emerging as police urge anyone with information to contact Detective Kenneth Castoral. This incident adds to growing concerns about safety in the area, occurring in a time of heightened community awareness following recent violent events.
