Utah-based Christensen Arms got its start making carbon-fiber barrels and stocks before branching out to make high-end complete rifles. Its Evoke, introduced in 2024, brought a premium-quality, American-made hunting rifle to the market that retailed for less than $1,000. New for 2025, the company is expanding its Evoke lineup by adding two unique chamberings that will allow hunters to take everything from whitetail deer to the largest game that North America has to offer: the .450 Bushmaster and the .375 H&H.

All Evoke rifles feature an M700-footprint, stainless-steel “Precision Machined Receiver” with a 60-degree bolt throw, adjustable TriggerTech trigger and a detachable box magazine. The company uses a 416R stainless-steel barrel that is button-rifled with a match chamber, with a threaded muzzle and the company’s “Reduced Felt Recoil” (RFR) brake installed.

Known for its high-end and premium-price rifles, the Evoke gives the hunter an affordable option that still offers the features and quality consumers expect from the company.

The .450 Bushmaster is a hard-hitting cartridge originally designed to work in semi-automatic modern sporting rifles that has become popular in states that have straight-walled cartridge restrictions for deer hunting. The iconic .375 Holland & Holland Magnum is a century-old cartridge that can take the largest game found in North America and many species on the African continent as well.

While Christensen makes four distinct Evoke models, the new chamberings are offered in the base configuration with a Smoked Bronze Cerakote finish on metal parts and an olive-drab green polymer Hybrid Hunter stock with an integrated Picatinny rail and sling swivels. The .375 H&H-chambered model has a 22” barrel, and the .450 Bushmaster-chambered version has a 20” barrel. Both weigh 8 lbs., have a three-round magazine capacity and an MSRP of $899 (making for one of the most affordable .375 H&H rifles on the market), and include the company’s sub-m.o.a. guarantee and limited lifetime warranty. For more information, see the company’s website.
