Texas-based Staccato flipped the 2011 market on its head earlier this spring with the introduction of the HD, a pistol that not only used Glock-pattern magazines but also updated the 2011 for modern, duty use. New for 2025, the company is rendering the design in a lightweight and compact form for concealed carry with the HD C3.6.

The Staccato HD C3.6 renders the company’s duty-sized HD pistol into a lighter and more compact package for concealed carry.

The HD C3.6 is chambered in 9 mm Luger and has all of the features originally introduced with the HD series, including bilateral thumb safeties and slide releases and a reversible magazine release for full ambidexterity. It uses a fully captive flat wire recoil system and is optics ready with Staccato’s HOST system that leaves the rear sight in place in front of the installed optic.

The standard HD’s full-size grip is shortened in the compact C3.6. This gives room for a 15-round magazine, and the pistol is supplied with metal bodied units made by Mec-Gar, and the pistol is compatible with all Glock-pattern 9 mm Luger magazines with a capacity of 15 rounds or more. Its shortened slide holds a 3.6” bull barrel, yet there is still room for front slide serrations and a Picatinny accessory rail on the frame’s dustcover. The resulting package has an overall length of 7.1” and height of 4.8”.

With a shortened grip and barrel/slide length, the HD C3.6 has a 15-round capacity and weighs 27 ozs.

Like other “C” models that Staccato produces, the HD C3.6 uses a main frame that is machined from a billet of 7075 aluminum, combined with a polymer grip module. This gives the pistol a weight of only 27 ozs.

The Staccato 2011 HD C3.6 has an MSRP of $3,144. For more information, see the company’s website.
