The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is actively searching for two suspects involved in an aggravated assault and attempted armed robbery that occurred on March 29, 2025, in Augusta. The suspects allegedly confronted a victim in the 3700 Block of Wheeler Road, demanding his chain while brandishing handguns. After the victim fled from the scene, the suspects pursued him and fired shots; fortunately, no injuries were reported.

Investigators have released surveillance imagery of the suspects, who are believed to frequent the Spicewood Drive area and should be considered armed and dangerous. Authorities urge anyone who encounters these individuals or has information about their identities to reach out to Investigator Terry Bale at the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office. Your assistance could be crucial in resolving this serious crime.
