A Killingly woman, 65-year-old Michelle Yeagher, is charged with murder after allegedly shooting 39-year-old Andrew Michael Olson in the chest while he watched “Toy Story” with a child. State police responded to the scene at a Dayville home, where they found Olson with a gunshot wound. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital. Eyewitness accounts indicate that the shooting occurred shortly after the child and Olson began watching the animated film.
According to an investigation report, Yeagher was found intoxicated and claimed to have acted in self-defense, stating that Olson had come after her.
