The Multnomah County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved a ban on concealed carry weapons in all county public buildings, responding to recent changes in Oregon law that empower local jurisdictions to implement such restrictions. With a requirement for clear signage at building entrances, Multnomah County is taking a notable step in its approach to addressing gun violence and creating more secure public environments.
