At the heart of the NRA’s mission is a simple goal: to serve our members, strengthen our communities, and advance education, safety, and shooting sports across the country.

The newly released NRA 2025 program impact report highlights program accomplishments that brought the NRA mission to life over the past year—through the dedication of volunteers, instructors, clubs, partners, and members nationwide.

Educating the Next Generation
In 2025, NRA education and training programs reached hundreds of thousands of Americans, emphasizing safe, responsible firearm handling at every level. More than 102,000 students completed NRA training courses, supported by 13,000 certified instructors and Range Safety Officers.

Youth-focused efforts remained a priority, with 240,000 children reached through the Eddie Eagle GunSafe® Program, youth shooting sports recognized nationwide, and scholarships awarded to student leaders representing the future of the shooting sports.

Expanding Access to Shooting Sports
From local ranges to national championships, NRA programs worked to make participation more accessible and inclusive. New competitive opportunities, such as America’s Rifle Challenge, welcomed shooters of all experience levels, while adaptive shooting initiatives and range accessibility grants helped ensure that more Americans could participate safely and confidently.

Strengthening Hunting, Conservation & Community Impact
NRA conservation programs continued to connect outdoor traditions with service. Nearly 49,000 students completed NRA Online Hunter Education, now accepted in 16 states, while partnerships like Hunters for the Hungry helped provide millions of meals to families in need across the country.

Supporting Clubs, Partners & Professionals
Behind every successful program is a strong network. In 2025, the NRA supported:

  • 5,000 affiliated clubs and associations
  • 2,500 firearm-friendly businesses through the NRA Business Alliance
  • State associations, ranges, and law enforcement professionals through grants, training, and safety initiatives

Major NRA events and museums also continued to draw hundreds of thousands of visitors, connecting the public with America’s firearm heritage.
